How long can it take to upgrade my contract?

Just been on and off the phone with Three for just over half an hour going round in circles (trying to upgrade to The One Plan 1 month sim only)

First phone call, five automated submenus to get through before being answered by guy in India asks identity questions, offers me upgrades I don't want, eventually says he can do that and puts me through to guy in Scotland. Guy in Scotland asks ID questions, says he can help with that and puts me through to another automated system in Ireland which eventually takes me to a person who tells me that unfortunately they only do Irish contracts and aren't able to transfer me back so I'll have to call again.

Second phone call, get through to India then loses connection.

Third phone call, get through to India, get asked ID questions, offered other contracts etc then get placed on hold for some time and then disconnected.

Fourth phone call, get through to India, get asked the usual and offered the usual. Then get transferred to another guy in India who asks me the exact same things and then transfers me again to someone else. Third guy tries to sell me the new S4, other 1 month contracts and other 12 month contracts before finally agreeing to upgrade to the one I want. Then tries to sell me another phone on a 24 month contract anyway. But finally... success!

Who'd have thought taking my money would be so hard?
 
I understand what you mean. I had this with a guy on three's website help thing before, I was asking a simple question, which he answered and then backed up with trying to get me to order there and then, asking every possible thing.

It's nearly as annoying as the Sky voice mail thing I was trying to fix other day:
Press 0 for help. Press 1 for how to solve your problem. Press 0 for help. Press 1 for how to... etc.
