How long do upgrades take to switch over?

I upgraded my Vodafone plan last Friday and it still seems to be on my old plan. Do they normally take a long time to switch? Also my new phone came with a new sim, will it switch over to this? Thanks.

Yes. They told me I can’t upgrade from a data sim, I can’t have the upgrade I signed up for and tried to sell me something else.

I did my upgrade through CPW and it seems as if a Vodafone contract through them has completely different rules to Vodafone themselves. I spoke to CPW and they’ve sent my contract request again, so now I’m wondering how long it’s likely to take before I hassle them.

Normally straight away. Cpw had some great sales on on over the black Friday weekend which has resulted in a backlog in Vodafone's end

I've seen many people buy new connections instead of upgrades too. (I work for cpw)

I’ve never done an upgrade. I would have bought a new connection, but I’m out of the country and was hoping my current sim would just keep working on the new contract. Saves faffing around getting a sim posted to me.

Sounds like your gonna have issues. You can always phone Vodafone, provide them with the sim number you have in your phone
