How long do you keep them for?

Well I just buy undies when i see some I like, I have thrown away loads recently due to weight loss but I wouldn't replace just because 6 months is up thats way too expensive!

Yeah same, I can never find my socks, it's easier to buy new ones...

The point is that people like that do not build up a decent immune system so they get easily infected with stuff that most normal peoples immune system would easily fight off.
 
I will happily use a pair of boxers until holes appear or the elastic in them goes. It's usually the former rather than the latter.
 
Mine are replaced when more hangs out than is held in... once I get around to having her remember when she's shopping. :D It's not hard to spot the "old marrieds" v "single and looking" crew, is it? :p
 
I throw them away when they get holes in (sometimes not even then - they are so comfy!), but there is no logic to her throwing them away every 6 months. If they suddenly became unwearable after 6 months of washing, why not after 5? Then 4, 3, 2, 1 oh you can't even wear them for one day now.

Honestly, why are people so scared of germs. Yes there are some scary ones out there, but damn, we have survived for thousands of years without dying out and without replacing our underwear every 6 months. Hell the Victorians only bathed once every 6 months.
