How long does 2nd class post normally take?

Just waiting on a CPU cooler to arrive from OC on the cheapo postage option. I got an email at midday tuesday saying "Your Order has been packed and is in the process of being shipped" , so I presume it might come tomorrow? I don't think postie came today, he would have put one of those cards through my door saying 'tried to deliver but you weren't in' wouldn't he? Not worried about this, just curious really. :)
 
dont use 2nd class again, you're asking for trouble...........special delivery next day only....but you still use Royal Mail though!

you'll probably be ok, but 2nd class; well you know....take care!

well, we hope not mate..... but the staff are ****** unhappy right now , quite right too, the POST OFFICE is in a right mess since going private...they're treated like S***

i use recorded delivery next day Royal MAIL, they're excellent... but i've used them too much recently...........because this new rig is costing me a fortune in postage :mad:

but this website does not stock Xigmatek fans.... and i need yet one more, plus the Corsair PSU, the Corsair RAM and the BLU-RAY drive..... flipping heck :(

but after this, nothing more till next May/june.

but i've also got my eye on ``mega-shadow`` but if i get this, i'll sell my Thor's Hammer:D:D
 
always ring them up and make sure they have actually posted it. this happened to me with my motherboard and ram the other day :mad: waiting nearly a week after id been told it was sent and theyd not even sent it .

dont worry, because if you dont get it, they'll have to send you another one.

and then you can change your order to Megahalems instead :D:D:D:D:D:D

Lol, but with a mega Van Halen, I'd have to buy an AMD retainer bracket I think and swap my stock one out.

yea and you have to pay an extra 8 quid...:eek: and it is a big retaining bracket too

but for dual fans take care, because you'll need extra fan clips too :D:D

i'm hoping that Thor's Hammer will run at the same temp as Megahalems or maybe one degree warmer.......... because the ones in the reviews were unlapped revision A models...........and about 3 degrees warmer on full load.......... but i've read a couple of reviews where the Hammer is actually cooler.................so it's there or thereabouts.

Just rang them, and the very nice chap I spoke to confirmed it was actually sent out on tuesday. He said several deliveries have been taking longer than usual from Royal Fail, even 1st class posts (mine was 2nd class because I'm cheap:D) and so it could take till next week. Strikes due to go nationwide. I'll keep everything crossed that it turns up today though.
 
Im waiting on a load of screws, nuts and bolts for rebuilding my PC at the moment, bought off an auction site and no options other than 2nd class postage. think today is day 5... bit annoying, normally 1st class minimum!
 
Just don't use royal mail; took them a weekend and 5 working days to deliver something from 45 minutes up the m6 a few weeks back and it was 1st class post :eek:
