How long does a speeding ticket take to come?

As title really, I am pretty sure I was caught between junction 17&18 on the M4 just wondering how long it usually takes for all you lucky people who got caught speeding to come

Varies by force. Staffs are normally within 2-5 Days.

If id doesnt arrive by the 14th working day they cant do you anyway.. I recently went through such a wait. Its horrible

sweet if what you say is true i could be off the hook, I got caught on october the 31st just been agonising waiting for the ticket to come

You're in the clear then mate, even if they do send you one they cant have you anyway.

Mine happened on the 19th

They have to POST it by the 14th day

Plus this is all assuming that the car is not a company car.

yeah unless you get one postmarked the 14th they can naff off

on the bright side, if they posted it tuesday (the 14th) its probably going to turn up on monday or not at all. cant see it taking a week.

I think I was done by a camera the other day.. was driving in Coventry and my sat nav went nuts cause of the new road layouts with roundabouts.. I was doing about 45 in what was possibly a 40.

I saw the lines on the floor and braked, no idea if there was a camera or whether it got me
