How long is too long to wait on ebay?

I won a PSP on ebay last Thursday in the morning using buy it now and paid via paypal. Since then i've heard nothing and sent some emails and used the 'Contact Seller' but had no response.

However I notice that the seller had bought something using buy it now the same Thursday afternoon so he obviously was online.

How long would you wait to hear from a seller before escalating a possible issue? For all I know it might actually turn up in the post today which would be fine but i'd usually expect to hear from a seller by now.

haha I know i'm perhaps a bit frantic as this is a present for the missus, maybe i'm spoilt by really quick contacting sellers :D

Not all sellers are great communicators. While they really should at least let you know when an item has been dispatched, not all will. That doesn't mean that they are dodgy though and chances are you will receive the item just fine (you'll just have to be patient though, the post isn't always as fast as we'd like).
 
I'd give it a week first. Chances are that it wasn't posted until yesterday (If I'm anything to go by) :)

You're buying your wife a PSP? I hope your sofa is comfy...
 
hmm still no contact, no PSP and whats worse is that all of a sudden some of the sellers who have left him feedback have become 'no longer registered with ebay'.

his contact number is false as well :damn: :mad:

Yeah, I guess at worst though i'll get most of money back through paypal though I think theres some limit isn't there?
