How long is your commute and £££?

11 1/2 miles by bike, takes 40-50 minutes depending on traffic, weather and how energetic I'm feeling. Cost wise the bike was paid for on cycle to work so now it's just spares, repairs and extra food.

Car takes about the same length of time, less if I time it well, but parking is a pain in the arse where I work. It costs £5 in the long stay car park, or I can park on a side street and walk the rest of the way.

Bus is pretty much a last resort. It's takes over an hour as I have to change buses and it costs like a tenner a day.

11 miles each way, 30mins if its school holidays or if I depart at half 6ish all the way up to 70 mins when schools are on, and its raining.

For the last 2 years - 40 miles each way.
On average it takes me around 45/50 mins, most the journey is a clear motorway so it isn't too bad.
Costs me around £50-60 a week in diesel.

I just recently cut my commute from a 50 mile round trip that took 45 mins to an hour to a 2.8 mile round trip that i can walk to. Best thing i ever did!

45 miles round trip, takes around 40-60 mins each way. 25 mins if I leave work at midnight and it's quiet.

Probably costs around £60 a week to fuel for the entire week so commuting around £40-£50.

Used to do a 70 mile round trip so it's coming down.

My commute is pretty short.

My £ is no shorter than anyone else's, and frankly that's quite a personal question.

At the moment my commute is 10miles each way, can take me anything between 10mins to 20mins depending on traffic and cost roughly £100 month on petrol. This morning i done it in 11mins, green lights for the 3 sets of light before i joined the main A road and a clear road in front of me.

22 miles a day by car. I worked it out to around £6 a day. Or £1.63 if the car is sitting at home doing nothing.

Depreciation has not really been a big factor since it's barely lost anything, if any, since I bought it 6 months ago. Used ofc.

24 miles as the crow flies, takes 1.5 hours (1 tube, 1 train) and costs about 13% of my take home pay.

My home office is my conservatory. So no cost.
Our business office is in the Netherlands. This either involves a 2 days drive through at least 2 countries or a drive to MAN airport and a flight which is around £150 return.

I just timed it, I can be in the office twelve seconds after getting out of bed.
