How long should tyres take to properly scrub in?

I've just had a set of new Eagle F1 Asymmetrics fitted to the back of my 530 and have done about 250 miles on them I think, but they still seem really rubbish grip-wise. Putting your foot down at 4500rpm in second/third now makes the DSC blink blink blink even in the dry, which the old ones didn't do before, even on the wear markers.

They are getting a bit better, but I'm sure my last set (or the GSD3's before that) never took this long to break in - is this normal?!

250 miles of what kind of driving? Motorway miles wont have made a dent on them yet. Straight line, dsc off, and get a rolling burnout going....that'll get rid of the crap in seconds ;)

My GS-D3's were properly worn in after about 30 miles!

This thread will now fill with people who have missed the point and post LOL TYRES OF CHEESE or whatever.

I've just been doing local work in the last week so no motorway miles, just a few on the A34 I guess.

This is my third set of Eagle F1's now I think and I'm sure I never had to wait this long to get decent grip before.

Before anybody suggests it, tyre pressures are correct ;)

Yep, I'd have thought thta was about right. Shouldnt take long at all to be honest. If you were on a track you could do it within two or 3 laps.

Ermm.. are you tyres the ones that were accidentally imported from China ? :o

** Someone please slap me for mentioning that **

F1's on the back of mine got grippy quite quickly, under 100 miles I think
