Hey before i used to game for around 4-5 hours straight maybe more until i decided to research the recommened time and it said 1 hour with a 15 min break each hour which shocked me so now i play for an hour and have a 15 to 20 min break my question is that is it still okay to game for 4-5 hours or more a day but as long as i have a break every hour as stated above ? Or should i reduce the amount of time i play for?

What 1 hour and then have a break, when I was on ever crack I played till I got booted from the group for falling asleep at the kb... was not uncommon to do 6 am to 2 or 3 am if I did not have to work

If work i do an hour when i can be botherd, If im not at work, 8am-3am with dinner and tea inbetween and afew 2L bottles of coke. Fun times
U cant survive on 5 hours sleep though.. I aint done this for about 2 months now i doubt i will for a long time unless they release an amazing new game

Hard to say, I'd say I game for about 10-15 hours a week at a guess? But I rarely watch TV, maybe 1-2 hours a month. It's amazing the amount of people at work etc who say "I don't have time to play games like you do" but I know full well that they spends 49 out of 50 evenings watching 5 hours of TV

when i was racking up my 550 days play time on runescape i could easily get up at 8am on a summer holiday, play till 4-5am crash out while on a boss trip wake up at a silly time and start again
so so so so so glad those days are over

When I was playing BF2 it was easily 4-5 hours a day, but now I'm bored of gaming. I bought BF3 when it first come out and since today I've only played it about half an hour!

Till my RSI in my claw hand gets me killed 6 times in a row. Then I know it's time to go watch TV for a while.

Just play till you know yourself it's time to take a break! I honestly wouldn't take 15 minutes after every hour myself, but that's just me.

Got to say I used to do the all day/night stints, but now I try to keep it to evenings, and because I only game with friends when they go to bed I just don't play at all. Can't stand playing MC or BF3 without mates on Teamspeak.
