how long till next generation of cards released?

Ati's are slated for a june release but time will tell nvidia won't release until Ati do so take Ati's release add a month or two and you'll have nvidia's release time.

Rumours have been flying about that GT200 and RV770 are coming around June/July so who knows?

Edit: More recent articles have been stating that the various chips are already about to enter production stage.

You never know, it could be the 'good' kind of refresh - thinking 6800 GT to 7800 GTX here... RV770 is supposed to be a 'refresh', too, but it's at least improving in a way that will actually boost performance. Then there's D10U or whatever that is that's supposed to have a 448/512-bit bus... Buuuut judging by that core name that's a GeForce 10 Ultra or something silly. <<

ATi next gen is going to arrive soon, an evolution of RV670 code named RV770.

Should prove to be quite a nice card with great performance/£
