How long until we see a £300 card able to maintain 60fps at 4k?

I would like that because it should take care of the blur on close up objects and pretty much perfect the VR experience for me. I mean it's so dam close as it is but feel 5k would almost allow for photo realistic graphics. A couple years maybe cos my current graphics card probably wouldn't be up to it.

Yeah I think it's rinsing the 2080 ti ATM so it's gonna need some decent sync software to go with it. Gonna wait on this one aswell

If you’re happy with lower settings a 1080 can do it. Got mine for £330.

I get about 80fps @ 3440x1440 with max settings on MGS5.

Witcher 3 is a notoriously punishing game, especially with hair works etc.

Just found out I can use 3840 x 1440 (should be 3440 x 1440 to be correct?) custom resolution with 1:1 pixel mapping on my monitor. That makes it a little easier on the GPU than 4K and means I'll probably use this resolution with a Vega 64 until I can afford a 2080Ti.



Also used the TFT Central calibrated settings with ICC profile loaded into Windows 10...big difference!

At £300?? A long long way off OP, unless of course you're happy to drop game visual settings to low on the big games.
