Thinking of getting a 8800GTX question is what score do you think I'll come out with on 3d Mark 06 without overclocking?
Ive currently pulled 6167 with my 7900GTX stock and 6613 overclocked.
Heres my other Specs:
Asus P5B deluxe WiFi
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 2.4mhz
2GB OCZ 800Mhz PC6400 Ram (2X1GB)
Sata2 H/D 250GB

I think it comes out at a little over 10k.

[Edit] Hang on, tomshardware seems to think it'll get 4-5k in '06.

Are you sure you don't mean you got 6k in '05?

WHY??????
Do you only want an 8800GTX to say, "Everyone look at my score", or do you want a card that will play everything you can throw at it maxed out??? 3Dmarks mean jack ****, real world performane is where its at.

your crossfire got no dx10 or shader model 4.0 support :p :p

bet that wiped the smile of your face :D

WHO CARES!

SM4, big whoop, SM3 was big.

DX10, don't even know if it works.

G80 is a faster DX9 card with the possibility of DX10 support. thats it :)

Well turned it up the other day to 2.8 just for a quick run and all it gave me was another 170 points, so not a big improve :( ment

Aint got one, don't want one and have the money, there is a difference.

Ill be getting R600 2 months after its out, or G81, whichever is better.

If R600 kicks G80s ass ill laugh at you all :D

It better do, if it doesn't i will be thoroughly disappointed.

g81 will probably end up being a 8600gt.

I got a score of 11300 in 3dmark06. My rig is an X6800 core2 overclocked to 3466Ghz, 2gig of OCZ (4-4-4-15) ram, the 680I EVGA mobo & the BFG 8800GTX. I tried to push it to 3.7Ghz but it got a bit unstable. Still dont go much above 36 degrees under load. I need to mess with the voltage more I think but cant be assed tonight. Oh & Im using a tuniq tower 120 heatsink!

By the way, for all of you runing over 3.7Ghz what are your cpu voltages set to? Currently im at 1.375v & the multiplier set to x13.
