How many albums do you own - all formats?

No it isn't - I will always have the biggest willy in the Music section.

It's been years (literally) since I counted...and my album purchases have slowed down majorly in the last couple of years but I'd put it at at least 4,500. There are boxes filling half my parents' attic and I have about 600 here...

When I buy a place, I'll get them all in one place...until then, it's logistically impossible.

Twelve years of avid collecting and seven years of DJ promos...

Bet I could 'spit' further too ;)

I got a lot of vinyl, cassettes cd's and MP3's. I'm not going to count it but somehow I think dave would probably have more than me, not sure about Nicky.

At least I'm on one of mine :)

If we're including our own music, may I bring approx. 200 x ADAT, five 100-stacks of CD-Rs and 1.8Tb of HDD space over three PCs to the table?

Admittedly, not all of that is finished tracks but it's all stuff I've created...

I'd like to hear some of that, so long as it's not all fire alar....I mean trance :)

All I have is 1 EP I played lead guitar on (79) which was partly later (3 years ago ish) released on a compilation CD and a current promise of a re release on CD of the original EP tracks. I haven't really done anything since, but I'm thinking about it.

When I got married in 1980 I had over 3000 vinyl albums and about 1000 vinyl singles. I actually was very late getting a cd player because I wouldn't embrace the new technology - in fact I think Metallicas black album was my first cd
My main music collecting are music DVD's and I have quite a few - DVD Music collection
I've also collected rock concerts off the TV since 1981 when I had my first video recorder and I still collect now off mainly German TV broadcasts (Rockpalast).
I'm saying nothing about my MP3 collection.

My own recorded works are far less than Punski's even though I've been in studios since the age of 12 and had my own first studio in 1974. I've done the equivalent of 10 cd's in 36 years which is pants really but most of my work has been done with other artists and I can't be arsed now.

Like 20 actual CD's
I suck, right ?

If they are 20 cd's that you can take out and listen to at any time and like them as much as the first time you heard them, then you don't suck.
In fact, I admire you.

The vast majority of my stuff consists of dying instruments. I used to get cheap/free keyboards and synths on the verge of dying and play them until they gave up the ghost, recording everything.

In terms of finished tracks...I probably have only about 50 hours worth of stuff.
