How many amps to turn an engine over?

My Scorpio has the 2.9l 24v BOB Cosworth engine and the starter motor is 1400w with a 72ah 720cca battery fitted.

Assuming 12v then 1400W is 116 amps.

The CCA rating is based on. most are 6 cell batteries so then you only need to maintain 7.2v, I dont know if many cars would actually start with such low volts.
