very true, I can't imagine spending that much at the moment. I did well getting my 690 for £420 so I think i'll just keep quiet and just nod politely!

I'm stighly confused as to why you would get this new card when you could get a 7990 for less? Any reason at all apart from being a NV fan boy?

Two GTX 780s in a system are fine, but two HD 7990s are not unless you are going to use waterblocks.

Having said that two GTX 690s on air are also fine and a lot more fun than a couple of GTX 780s.

Why? 4gb is a utter waste. 1080p and 2gb will be perfect for many years to come. Unless you game at 1440p or 1600p?

Bag yourself a Titan, at least it can run RTW2 maxed at 1600p

Check out the vram usage.

Having said that the GPU usage is rubbish but at least it runs the game and is quite playable.

was temped to order one myself, but opted to buy another 770 lightning (sli). couldn't see myself buying two 780's. more sense than money tbh!

1080p can easily use more than 2gb vram in the big titles. The top end gpus have the power to max.out 2gb
