As per title really, interested to know how many internal HDDs people have, and external if any.

I have 4, a 1tb, a 500gb and two 320gb's.

Along with that I have one 500gb external, which is really just a standard HDD in a USB/eSATA enclosure.

Poll would be awesome mods :)

Clarification, in your main PC, looking to see if people have added to their collection (like me) or consolidated smaller drives into one or two larger ones.

in how many pcs ?

i have 3 home pcs and 2 work ones

+ back up nas and externals

all together over 14 hard drives

3 x internal.

1 Samsung F1 320gb
1 Western digital caviar 250gb
1 Samsung F3 500gb

Hoping to add an ssd and switch my os from the F1 320gb when funds permit. This is in my main rig in sig. Second system has.

2 x 36gb raptors in raid0
1 x Wesern digital caviar 250gb.

On my laptop (currently my main PC)-

1x 2.5in 320GB 7200RPM
1x external 1.5TB 5400rpm
1x external 1TB 7200rpm

On my big PC -
2x 640GB 7200rpm
1x 1TB 7200RPM
2x 1.5TB 5400rpm
1x 750GB 7200RPM

So that's 9 total.

Main PC.

1 x Samsung F3 500GB I'm using less than a 100GB of it too. Never really needed huge storage to be honest.

1 x LG 250 GB External HDD. Contains some back up's and trash I haven't got around to deleting.

2 x 64GB Crucial c300 SSD's. If they count...

1 x 60GB SSD for Windows & Program Files
1 x 320GB Samsung F1 for Games (going to replace with 320GB F4 when they come out)
2 x 2TB Seagate drives in a Synology NAS (raid 1) for Storage

Five (maybe 4 do SSDs count?).

1x OCZ 2E 64GB SSD
1x 1TB WD Black
1x 1TB Samsung F1
2x 1TB Samsung F3

Run out of sata ports, not sure what going to happen next :(

I have 6 right now.

5 Internal: 1x WD 500GB, 2x WD 1TB, 1x Samsung F2 1.5TB, 1x Seagate Barracuda 1.5TB
1 External: 500GB Western Digital My Passport Elite

Looking to get another 2TB soon though, running out of space o.O

I currently have:
1x 250gb (make unknown)
1x 500gb WD

and external:
1 x 500gb WD

The reason it's external is because my cause is so old i couldn't find any HDD rails to work with the case, and so had to resort to having it in an external enclosure.

Hopefully this will all change soon though with a new build :p

i have..

2x 300GB WD velociraptor in RAID 0 [just bought the second]
2x 1.5TB Seagate 7200.11

1x 500GB seagate 7200rpm 500gb [2.5in external from laptop]

so i have 5..

i plan to get a SSD when the next gen intels come out, but i need a new motherboard.. one with more than 6 sata ports and sata and USB 3

Internal
1 x WD raptor X 150gb now (used to be in a raid other one died)
External
1 x Seagate Freeagent 1TB (storage/backup)

basic and simple setup dont think i need anymore

Vintage Drive (Please dont laugh) EIDE PATA (Just sitting in a box not being using)
1 x Sammy 80gb
1 x IBM Premier 4.3gb
1 x WD 13.1gb
