... And does it affect your passion/interest in computers/computing?

I used to love computers/gaming/building my own rigs, but because of my recent job where i spend most of the day in front of a computer, a lot of spare time to browse the web if i want, i have pretty much lost all interest.

My striped raid array on my computer died about 4 months ago, but i just can't be bothered with it, i ripped out one of the hard drives and just installed normally.

I hardly use my main PC anymore and i just browse a little bit on my laptop, facebook, news, OcUK etc.. I stick to a little bit of Wii/PS3 gaming, but i've mostly lost interest in that aswell.

What about you guys?

I know what you mean, I work all day using a computer, (a lot of it posting here lol) then get home and watch stuff on the pc and/or play games, on a workday I will spend at least 10.5 hours in front of one and probably a maximum of 16 hours. When I'm not at work its nowhere near that high, but it depends on what else I have to do.

I dont like to mix business with pleasure...

Excactly the same as you.

Used to like IT as a hobbie. Now i work in the industry, lost all interest...

However i hope this will change once i progress up the ladder.

All most all day, everyday...

When I went to college I thought after a whole day on computers i wouldnt want anymore but nope.. i go home and play a little cs :)

8 hours a day at work, then maybe a couple in the evening. During the evening the pc is just on but i'm not always sat in front of it.

Working in front of a pc all day has dulled my interest a little, but I still do enjoy gaming etc

On days off I don't use the pc much, prefer to get outdoors

9.30 - 5.30 all day at work.

Then when I get home if I'm not out or haven't got any plans it'll be from about 7 till about 1 or 2 in the morning.

So about 14 hours on a particuarly social lacking day....

Quite worrying really, still have a big interest in them though :) but mainly focus on software rather than hardware as I know it from previous jobs, and I focus on my photography more than anything.

Same here really. On it all day at work from 8.30-5ish then turn on my pc at home when I get back. Probably use it for anything up to 2 hours on average in the evenings / weekend. It depends on what my wife is up to as well as to how much time I spend on it.

I did spend on average three hours online maybe more at weekends but not anymore since building a home gym its not healthy sitting at a desk really :).

Far too much, esspecially in these summer holidays.... got nothing to do in life atm..
