How many hours a week do you work ?

I'm intrested in how many hours a week you guys work, also do any of you guys have to work a 7 day week, I do atm and am feeling pretty down about it tbh, that will put my hours upto 49 hours a week, I'm intrested to see how that compares to others.

Varies, atm im on an 11 shift stint... we normally do 3 or 4 on then 2 off for Earlies and Lates, and nights 3 or 4 on and 3 off. But if I went off what im doing atm, im doing around 60 hour weeks...

Edit: Theres only 2 reasons why I do so much, one is for the money and 2 is sheer boredom at home..

i work shifts on a rotational basis, 7-2(earlies) , 2-10(lates) and 10-7 (nightshift). I work 7days in a row (not necessarily mon-sun) then get two days off, another 7days, 2 off then 7days followed by 10days off - its not too bad. So i guess i put in a 57hr week but spread out over the shift cylce (5 weeks) it averages at 37hrs per week,

Its usually 40 hours a week spread over Monday to Friday, this week though I will be doing 56 hours due to giving the Mum of the disabled child I look after some respite care, and his other carer is sick so its all down to me. I dont get a day off now until a week on Saturday.

i have been doing 70+ hour weeks for a few weeks now, only beacause of the money . I do 9pm-7am but some mornings i stay on till between 8-9am - last week i did just over 80 hours

bloody hell you must be racking it in doing 70+, I can do more hours also but I just can't get my backside into gear, it's partly why I made this thread, if I can see you guys on here doing more hours than me and coping with it, especially Kreeeee, (you definitly got my respect if your a student and doing 56 hours a week) then it might be an ensentive to knuckle down myself, I got a few debts that need clearing and I know I can clear them over the summer if I put the extra work in.

Average for me is 08:00 till 17:30 Monday to Friday for my main job.
About 4hrs a night working for my self, Monday to Friday.
Saturdays about 11:00 till 17:00.

Total: 68.6 hours a week

I am meant to do 32 hours (Tue-Fri, I look after my daughter on Monday) but I tend to do nearer to 40 hours. Probably more this week as I am on holiday next week.
