Arrive 9:30 (I'm doing a PhD), leave somewhere around 18:00, so 8.5hrs/day*5 = 42.5hrs. Often I stay later if required or come in earlier if necessary, and depending on what I'm doing at the time, I often come in once or twice over the weekend, so it probably works out more like 45-50hrs.
60+ hours probably, usually leave on my bicycle at 5:30am - 6am from Ealing to the City, get home anything from 7:30pm to 11pm. No overtime, but all about the bonus
That sounds pretty easy, and I think you are grossly underestimating the size of said bonus
While I'm here I typically leave home at 6:30 AM and get home at 7:30 PM. It feels very relaxing compared to my previous job, where going to 90 or so hours per week of work wasn't out of the question, let alone any travel.
