How many hours a week do you work?

I've never counted to be honest, but it's usually around 38 a week. That's what we're contractually obliged to do anyway.
But as a teacher it really depends on how much is going on and how many meetings you've got.

2 months off in the summer makes up for it though

35 max..... working at a Uni so basically a goverment job..... 6 month contract finishes in August which is good as I would hate to become as lazy as the people I am currently working with.....

Contracted to do 37.5 hours a week i.e. 7.5 hours per day.

However I usually work 55 to 60+ hours plus an hours drive each way. Oh, and the work laptop is usually on in the evening and weekends too.

No overtime, no on call, just graft!
