How many hours per week do spend on the internet ?

This,

Unless i'm doing something else, frankly i've been telling myself to get more into the outdoors again hiking camping etc. Buying some gear and going off on my own places to do things. Actually live out in the world more.

Yes

Man spittin pure fax. Not sure about last sentence actually but I wanted to say "pure fax", so here we are.
There was a period in time where the last Samurais were around when the first fax machine was invented.

As a lot of others have said, it's a bit of a generalisation to say "the Internet" as there's probably very little that doesn't involve using the Internet to some extent.

I'm on it either streaming/downloading stuff or surfing.
Then if you include work, the handsets used for code checking/stock enquiries/etc use the internet.
Plus when you shop and pay contactless, that is internet too. As been in shops where the internet has been down and it's chip n pin with card payments. Customers moan if they don't know their PIN or only got their phone. You don't have to use the PIN randomly given by your bank. Plus the reason why you take your cards with you.

If this was a "How many hours do you spend on TV?" we'd have multiple people declaring that they didn't even know what a TV was or they've never seen one even when they were little or got rid of it years ago because it's all rubbish but they spend decades on the Internet :)

The formula is

Hours on the t'internt = (Ti * 2.8) + (Tw * 0.75)

Ti = Time I think I'm on the internet
Tw = Time I'm supposed to be working each week

Simples..

It's difficult to gauge now that so many things are intertwined. E.g. if you're watching YouTube on a Chromecast, its basically the same as sitting at a PC "on the internet".

Even the word Internet now sounds kind of antiquated, along with World Wide Web and Information Superhighway.

Saying that the quality of it has gone downhill since mid 00s and I don't use it as indiscriminately as before. Used to lap up everything I could read at one point.

Recently I was searching Google images and it came up with a load of Stable Diffusion AI images. How long before the dead Internet theory becomes reality.

Pretty much all day.
Always something streaming in the background by it movie, tv shows, YouTube. When outside (ewww) Spotify in my ears. At work is all online based and always have something in my earphones playing.
