How many icons in your system tray?

currently:
AOL dialer
zone alarm pro
AVG anti-virus
safely remove hardware (USB modem+Ipod)
those are the only 4 i have in the task bar constantly, basically for easy access to the stuff i dont want to have to navigate through tonnes of other programs to find ;)

the other 2 i occasionally have are:
ITunes
MSN

I've seen a few people with only one process running and it's not an Anti-virus or firewall? Why do people not have those?

its not that they aren't running, they have just chosen not to have them in the tool bar ;) it's a little tick box option, usually right at the end of installing a program.

edit: or you can just change it later like i did, was sick of having the tool bar half way across my screen (tiny 14" CTR...now tiny 20" widescreen TFT :D)

I have 4, MSN Messenger, MS Office (I wish I knew how to turn it off), Sidebar (shouldn't be on the system tray in the first place) and the sound icon.

Active sync
Firewall
2 X avast
windows warning - printer not connected
volume
sound effect - soundcard driver thingy
safley remove hardware
Spybot S&D

Anti-Virus are for grandparents and n00bs? heh, dunno why I don't use one on my other since it does not do much surfing and anything sent to it from this machine is tested first.

Or they might of had thier system tray tructulated ie, had hide inactive icons enabled.
