How many in your immediate family?

How do you define immediate?

To me, my immediate family are my wife and kids because they are closer to me and the kids depend on us. I don't include my parents or my sister as being immediate family. Family but not immediate.
 
11 - this is just very close family

Me - Gf
Sister - Brother-in-law - niece
Mum - Dad
Gran - Grandad
Gran - Grandad
 
Probably 8 i'd say for my family.

I have a brother but he works away a lot, she has 3 sisters but they live a long way away with her Dad.


Don't get chance to see her or my Grandparents much as they live a good distance away and we don't have a car atm.
 
A fair amount.

I have both parents and 3 sisters and 1 brother.
My eldest sister has 2 children.
My Mum has 5sisters and 4brothers so i have 27cousins at the moment.
My dad only has 1 sister +2 children
and 1 grandparent.

so total of 49 i reckon unless i have forgotten someone which is more than likely.
 
I see my parents maybe three times a year in person, although i do tend to video conference with them once a week.

My sister I see on average once a year.

I only have two cousins, (my Mum's brothers children, my Dads a only child) and I haven't seem them or my Aunt and Uncle in years...
 
I see my Mum, Dad and sister several times a week. I often see cousins, thier partners and their kids though - we're a big but close family. :)
 
Mum, dad (he's home 3 days a week), 2 sisters, 1 brother and my nan lives with us (she has her own flat in the middle of our house (we have a big 4 storey house)).
 
I dont see any of my family on a regular basis cause my parents and sister live down in dorset and my brother lives in birmingham, I see the folks and sis every couple of months and my bro every 4-5 months
 
I'm an only child and my parents are divorced and live abroad, so I only really see them twice a year. Although both sets of grandparents are still alive, a rarely see them, perhaps only at Christmas.
Aunties and Uncle's exist, but are rarely seen due to my own inability to keep in touch!

I am closer to my girlfriends family nowadays, seeing them perhaps once a month.
 
I see my mother, 2 older brothers, 1 younger brother and 1 older sister, everyday.

But then, before late June this year, I didn't see any of my family or friends for a whole year, so my statistics are all messed up. :p
 
Me, Mum and Step-Dad live at home, see my sisters about once a month, i see more of my girlfriends family than i do of mine..
 
Parents, grandma + sister when shes home from Uni - all at home

See my uncle (+ cousins) like once a bloody year (grandmas son) and he hardly ever phones.. its a lot of stress on my mum (g'ma's quite old) I think its stupid that she should have all the responsibilty for her...what dya think? or do sons generally not look after their parents :(
