how many iOS devices can i have against my apple ID ?

Hi,

I have an iPhone and iPad, plus my eldest son has an iPad, which again used my ID. Can I buy another iPad for my other son, and restore a backup from my iPad ? So that'll mean I'll have 4 iOS devices against my own ID.

Do they allow that ?
