On my seventeenth birthday I had a lesson with my dad which was an hour and a half then went to do my exam in the afternoon after lunch and passed with three minors. Beat that!

I find that hard to believe unless you have done a lot of driving illegaly before your seventeenth

Depeds how long time ago it was, it would be possible years and years back, it would definitely before thoery tests were brought in.

15 lessons, didn't have chance to do any other driving outside of them - passed first time though

Only had 2 lessons (and past 1st time

). I had driven lots on private land, and ridden a moped so was quite clued up on the rules of the road and actual car control. It was more a question of learning how to pass my test - which unfortunately is all the driving test does really.

9 2 hour lessons (18 hours) and i probably clocked in at least 5 hours with my Dad in his car.
