Commissario
I always fill up on the last day of the year and it's interesting to see how times change and how many miles I've done over the year.
Even though I've worked from home since 2018, I still managed to do around 10-12000 miles per year because I went into the office (in Woking) a couple of times a month but since getting made redundant instead of being furloughed in 2020, I now work almost exclusively from home.
With two cars now, my overall mileage has stayed roughly the same as it's been for the last couple of years but it's now split between them.
Mazda 6 - 2,414 miles
E65 750i - 2,340 miles
4,754 between them which is just a couple of hundred lower than 2023. Interestingly, I bought the BMW as a fun weekend car and although I've only had it for six months, it's done nearly the same mileage as the Mazda. That'll be because if we're going any distance, I prefer to take the V8 rather than the diesel. Let's face it, neither car is suitable for me, I really should sell the Mazda and buy a petrol Fiesta or something like that!
How many miles have you done in 2024?
