How many miles do you get for approx £50

I'd kill for most of the figures in this thread :(

If I drive how I like to drive (which isn't balls out acceleration, red-lining everywhere), I get around 250 Miles from £55 :(

If I drive how you would expect an 80 year old woman to drive, average 65 on the motorway, I can get a whopping 380~ miles from the tank.

\o/ for turbo goodness \o/

Same for me really. I guess it averages around 320, but have seen sub 300 on many occasions!

Still.....what do you expect when you own turrrrrrbo powaaaaa!

EDIT: Paradigm, you know with a decent re-map you can get better performance AND better MPG? Still, on one hand, granny mode equals even more miles, but more torque & BHP = even less MPG! Can't win!

Right im positive I must have a fuel leak £50 in mine gets me about 180 miles if im easy on it :(

75 quid full tank about 280

Exactly Witch is why im positive I have a fuel leak lol

Would the fact I have to drive about 30 miles up and down hills everyday effect it much?

:( Gona have to get the mechanic across the road to take a look, I always thought it was too low is there anything else exept a fuel leak that can cause low mpg

Can I be *really* smug here and mention that I got 721miles before the light came on last week :) From the light coming on it costs about £52-56 to fill the tank, it's an Audi A4 1.9 TDi.

you sure ? obviously I dont know how much per litre you pay for diesel but up here its an average of 98.9p

5600 / 98.9 = 56.62 litres = 12.44 gallon

721 / 12.44 = 58mpg

er actually that might be right I get approx 62 mpg from my 1.5DCI Megane thought a 1.9 Td would be a bit worse than that

oh and from £50 squid as per calculation above around 680 miles to a tank in the megane

and around 370 in the rover 420 :(

£50 = approx 480 miles, but then I sit on a motorway at 80mph all day long

Full tank £65 can see well over 600 miles to a tank! w00t!

So whilst all you sports cars are re-filling your tank (which takes around 10minutes on average from start to payment), i'd be approx 15 miles away if my constant spped was 80mph, which would mean you'd have to drive exceedingly fast to even comprehend catching up!

Diesel 4tw (I thank you!)

£40 will get me 330 Miles, Thats Full until the Rover Fuel Guage is Hovering around red, which means i still have around 10-15 Litres Left, so £50 should get me around 400, dont want to run near empty because of guages inaccuracy though, lol

Rover Coupe VVC btw

The fuel guage is terrible, ive done 220 miles and mines reading off the bottom of the scale which cant be right, but i dont really want to tempt fate and carry on driving it for a while because sods law i will run out.

A fillup costs me almost exactly £50 as it happens (55 litre tank but obviously not quite empty when I fill it).

For that I'll get between 450 and 550 miles on average, depending on the exact mix of driving. If I cruised up the motorway at 60mph I'd do nearly 700 :)

I reckon that, if I tried hard enough, I could do Clarkson's 800 mile London to Edinburgh round trip and my fuel tank is 60% of the size of the A8 he used :)

£50 = approx 500+, Vectra 1.9 TDCI (150), and that's with going across germany at a steady 120mph :)

Diesel and a six speed box. Absolutely brilliant.

Thats pretty crap for a new diesel in all fairness. My 150k 306 xrdt beats that :/
