How many Nectar/Clubcard Points do you have currently

Fudge all!!

I have used it a few times, since getting it, probably about 6 x £40 fuel fillages, and I have something like 450 odd points, which accumulates to something like, ummm, I don't know, £0.00!!!

Doesn't go up very quick ? :(

Never really committed to one of these points cards things before, so didn't know how long it will take

I don't even shop in Sainsbury's; my tally is just from Nectar Card and American Express bonus points and they'll soon be converted to Amazon vouchers.

fuel is the worst earner of nectar points. It's 1 point = 1 litre so a £40 fill is going to be about 30points or 15 pence. You will only earn a decent amount of point by using the IOS/Android app and the vouchers that they give you at the till.

What do the IOS/Android app do to gain you points? and vouchers for what? after you have purchased shopping you mean?

Cashed in over 16,000 in the summer on some flights.

Bought a Canon printer entirely on Nectar last month. Cashed in 2000 towards a new vaccum cleaner last week. None left now though.

I have been quite lucky as someone who must own a large house put my card details in when they moved energy supplier which is giving me at least 400 per month for doing nothing. It goes up as the winter draws in as well.

These loyalty card things are used by marketing bods to keep an eye on buying trends and whatnot and so they can target advertise to you. I have a card that I only ever use to buy completely random single items, for example in Wales we get charged 5p for a carrier bag, so I might buy a load of food at Tescos and only use the card for the purchase of the 5p carrier bag, I might do this for 5 or 6 times, then randomly just buy a tin of beans with this method in the futile hope it skews the 'marketing machine' up in some small way. :)

None. Not worth it. I am frugal in my food spending and visit a variety of shops.

And i'm not that confortable for a single private company to have detailed records of what I buy :P

Just over 1000 nectar points at the minute. They take so long to accrue that I rarely even bother looking now, especially since they got rid of the £2.50 Amazon vouchers that I used to generally use to offset the cost of a music CD/download.
