disabling the skype addin on internet explorer as it causes crashes?

I had this issue on Vista and now on Windows 7.


Just interested to see if i am alone.
 
I remove it on all my browsers as it has a tendency to hide the bloody number! I don't use Skype for every day calls - just to a few other Skype users - so I don't need to be able to dial a number through my browser.

And yes, it did crash my mum's IE7 once.

^ this, funnily enough fixed two problems at work today by disabling addons for IE and one problem caused by an addon for office, there pointless most of the time anyway

What i do hate is going to fix someones PC only to find they have about 6 toolbars enabled - 2 or 3 of which tend to be spyware

i think i may have stumbled up on to my IE problem, thanks i'll report back if disabling my addons stops IE from crashing
