How many of you game with crossfire?

Hey,

Trying to make my mind up whether to go crossfire or just buy a 6950 and flash to 6970 ( Currently have a 5850, been offered another for £100).....

Do any of you have problems with crossfire, or any of you have 5850 in crossfire? Opinions would be much appreciated

After looking at the comparisons I'm sold, 5850 for me it is. Hopefully the right decision... if not then I guess I can always sell up with the 5850's

They aren't reference though, and despite the cooler apparently being amazing, a friend has one and its certianly no cooler than my stock sapphire branded ati one.

Hey Mate,

It would be the equivalent of two 5850's. Overclocked they perform very well

Have basically got two 5850's in crossfire at 1000 / 1100 and they perform quite nicely

Probably non reference mate, does it have AMD written down by the pciex connector? If so its definately reference, if not then most likely not.
