I always wondered where the millionaire winners go, as you never hear about them. The old-style lotto that begun in 1994 generated a millionaire roughly once per week. Let's say 50 per year. That's just on the Saturday draw. When the £2 draw got introduced 5-10 years ago the jackpot was increased but there was still the lesser millionaire winner, again once a week. I think it was generated from a barcode on the lotto ticket itself. So I think the lotto must have generated around 1,500 millionaires in its lifetime now. That's at least 1 millionaire in every major UK town.
