How many places you lived?

4 years - North Yorkshire (Parents)
17 years - North Yorkshire (Parents - moved house, same town)
1 year - Newcastle (Uni)
1 year - North Yorkshire (Year Out, back at parents)
2 years - Newcastle (Uni)
6 months - North Yorkshire (Parents)
1 year - Manchester (rented accommodation - moved in with GF at the time, now wife)
1 year - Manchester (bought apartment)
6 years - Cheshire (bought a house)
9.5 years - Cheshire (current house - moved 1/2 mile from last house)
 
It depends on how you define "lived". If you include periods of contract work or periods that, while months long, I knew were going to be temporary, then all over the place including all continents except Antartica. If it's places where I lived long enough to buy homes, then UK, USA, France, Italy, Switzerland, Australia and India. Oh, and 18 months in Japan, but I rented there.
 
I've lived in 4 different counties, with each county having several internal moves. I don't miss home too much, really just the people there. But I try and head back every few months to catch up and often go on holiday with my best friends from home.

Devizes, Wiltshire, 2010-2013 (3 properties)

Leicester, 2014-2014 (1 property)

Hopefully in Chester for the next few years as my job is stable, but will likely by my own house here, so one more move to come.

Since moving out at 19 I lived in 10 rented properties until I bought my own place a bit over a year ago.
 
Only one small town/village in West Yorkshire. I work in Leeds and could've maybe moved closer for work when we bought our own house last year, but I played it safe and stayed in the same town. I guess it's a bit daunting leaving where you know and moving to a new place with no friends or family close by. Maybe in the future.
 
Childhood in south Wales, Llancarfan and Penarth. Went to boarding school in Malvern at 13 and Wales started to feel less like home. University in Surrey. Then moved to florida for a few years for more studying. Then two London moves and settled in Surrey the last 12 years. Love where I live and never want to move again if poss.

1969 - 1971 - Felling. (The infamous Poulson maisonettes off Nursery Lane!)
1971 - 1972 - Northampton town centre.
1972 - Feb 1977 - Lakeview Estate Northampton.
Feb 1977 - Jul 1977 Kendal (don't ask).
Jul 1977 - Feb 1978 South Northampton.
Feb 1978 - Apr 1984 Hopping Hill Northampton.
Apr 1984 - Sep 1985 Park South Swindon.
Sep 1985 - Mar 1990 Westlea Swindon.
Mar 1990 - Jul 1997 Grange Park Swindon.
Jul 1997 - Oct 2001 Brackla (East) Bridgend.
Oct 2001 - Feb 2006 Brackla (West) Bridgend.
Feb 2006 - Back in Sunny Swindon.
So lots of different places, to quote Connor McLeod in Highlander.

At parents in a couple houses in Glasgow, and a year in Germany
Glasgow flat 1 year (uni)
Glasgow flat 2 years with Mrs (uni)
Cambridge 1.5 years (graduated/ job)
Solihull, Birmingham flat (just moved) only 6 month lease though and I hope to buy a house soonish... So will move again
