Im 22, and have been driving for 5 years. I got 4 points in 2002 (CD30). It's cost me so much in insurance costs ever since.

They come off soon!

After around 7 years and 80k miles I finally got 3 points last September. Never speeding in 30/40 zones and keeping an eye out for the big yellow boxes has stood me in good stead. Hopefully it'll be another 7 years before I get any more though I suspect it may be sooner

9 years of driving, 2 SP50s for insurance purposes but only three points that still count on the licence. They come off in June and I'll be free to rack up a few more assuming I haven't been caught testing the motor out earlier tonight
