How many points do you have on your license?

Passed in 2002 and received 3 points in 2010 for 93 in a 60 (it was 2am and very quiet on the road, only me and the unmarked police car it seems). Genuinely nice guy who pulled me other though and I'm sure he could have given me a lot more. I even managed an extension to 4 weeks to produce my license at the station as I'd only just sent it off to the DVLA as I'd just passed my certificate for professional competence!

Passed 1997

Current Points Zero

Have a history of DR10, SP50, failing to provide, but that was all many years ago, a bad spell, learned lots of lessons, been point free for around 7 years + now.

3 points although nearly up!

Used to work on the doors. Had left my p45 at work place finished up around half 4am! drove away and got a phone call from the boss, I was at an opening from the empty car park onto a side street and I was stationery and answered the phone for all of about 10 seconds to turn around and go pick it up. Police must have been hiding and seen me and got 3 points for on the phone :/ although I was stationery I protested they said because my engine was running, load of crap tbh.

No points ever :)

Got pulled over once for jumping a red light in Sheffield when I was 17, but got away with a rollicking.
Only got pulled once myself jumped in front of a police car at trafic lights. Got the "are you in a hurry son" followed by a 10 min car inspection then was free to go.

I think I've gotten better at not getting caught ;)

I did the IAM driving course in 2005 which sorted me out a bit, well worth the time. Teaches better/more appropriate use of speed which was the main reason I was caught out a couple of times.

The third one was quite funny, even at the time. If anyone knows Avebury you'll know that as you head north from the A4 you go carefully through the stones in the 30 zone and then there's NSL beyond that. Well I had this black BMW 3 series up my chuff while I'm doing 20-25 through the stones being quite careful. This was in the Caterham by the way.

So we get to the NSL sign and I drop a cog into 2nd and nail it. 3 figures come up in a blink of an eye and then I spot the blue lights way in the distance behind me. Bricks were ****.

Anyway I hit the anchors and pulled over pronto and we had a little chat in the back of the unmarked 330d that I'd just left for dust. Watched the video (which to this day I wish I'd gotten a copy of!) and he basically said that since he couldn't keep up he couldn't verify my speed, but he hit 100mph before he started catching me after I'd braked, so we both knew I was going well over the speed limit. So he said "would you like 3 points and a £60 fine" and I said "thank you very much, I'll be on my way now" with my tail between my legs thanking my lucky stars.

There are some decent coppers out there after all :)

Passed in 2004 and got a 3 point TS10 for a jumping a red light about 6 months after. I came out of a side turning onto a clear carriage way but failed to notice a crossing light change after the pedestrian had already crossed. I also failed to spot the camera flash and the first thing I knew was when the notice came through the letterbox. I was gutted and it made me much more aware of things after that.

No points since then.
