i have 3 points picked them up in dunstable coming back from luton airport at 3am :/ 54mph in a 40 perfectly straight road etc yadda yadda im not bitter

had them just over a year now previous to that my license was clean for 6 years

None, but I have done a speed awareness course for 36 in a 30 from a Gatso I drive past every day :rolleyes:

However, I do now stick to 30/40/50 limits pretty religiously now as thats where most of the cameras are.

They don't seem to bother with camera speed enforcement on the motorways in Lancashire, and the revenue-generating in the name of safety partnership aren't allowed to do motorways. As soon as I get into Cumbria the cruise control goes on at 78mph during the day - I know lots of people who have been done up there.

technically i should be banned already if it goes through but i got fined a while ago for driving down a bus only road in peterborough but the policeman let me off the 3 points and just gave me a £30 fine.

SP30 - 46 in a 40 in Leeds (200 metres from a national speed limit dual carriageway! :mad:

) these are 3yrs up next week.

SP50 - 97 on the motorway. Like i said in another thread, was caught at 117 but was outside the 'do-able' distance of LTI20.20, managed to slow down to 97 before he got me. Copper was good about it though, gave me choice of court or 3pts/£60 valid until Oct next year i think.

That was all after 16yrs of a clean licence. So i'd watch the smugness
