My Mrs. was caught by a peeler with a speed camera last night on a stretch of dual carriageway, I can't seem to weedle out of her how fast she was going or what the speed limit is on that stretch of road. She thinks she was possibly doing between 70 and 80 so it's probably more like 80-85 while overtaking, if she has been nabbed and assuming it's a 70mph speed limit is it normally just 3pts and a £60 fine? She's concerned her insurance will sky rocket (we only pay £220 a year at the moment fully comp). And before the anti-speeding brigade crack their knuckles I know it's her fault and she has been told.
Doh
Got £60 and 3 points. Oh and for the omglolzbbqwtfone1111!!!!! think of the children brigade come along, I was thinking of them, the little ***** ********'s that live in this area would have had the block out and the alloys off if I went much slower. Oh, it's a dual carriageway, fenced off, with service roads, grass THEN houses - 30mph? My arse!
