Its just starting to dawn on me that I aint really got that many friends kicking about for when I get bored and need someone to knock around with.

Few years back this wasnt an issue, but as ya get older people priorities change, people get married, engaged, tied down with work etc.

So how many dependable friends are you left with?

Id say in reality, Ive probably only got about 4 now. Pretty depressing! lol

I'm glad that I have 8 real friends, and more that are aquaintences, Life is managable this way.

Anyway, not depressing, its the quality of time spent with said friends that count.

You still a postie mate? :)

Nah Im joining the RAF, so I left the postie job a few weeks back, all set to start RAF on April 1st (funny day!).. but 2 days after leaving postie job RAF phoned me and told me my date was put back 6 weeks.

Couldnt get my postie job back so Im stuck on flaming dole until May 12th :(

According to my FB...220 :D

That I actually talk to? About 20-25

Out of that 25 people, how many do you actually see on a very regular basis.. and how many would you call tonight if you were bored and fancied a pint or something.

What, do you mean locally? I have loads of friends I can knock about with across the country but only a handful locally, not that there's much to do in this town anyway.

If you replaced 'real friends' with 'really close friends' I'd say I've probably got a select handful (under ten). As for people I know in real-life, I couldn't possibly give you an accurate number.

I have more than 4 friends, but I think theres only 4 that I would phone for a bit of banter or a catchup. The rest are friends that I see when we all go out in groups etc.

I have 4 friends who I know would be there for me whenever I need them, And same vice versa. Those are what I would call real friends.

Friends, As in people I see a lot, and go out drinking with socializing with and genuinely just hang with. Not sure, 15ish, probably just less

Around six or so 'real' friends, about 25 more that I just briefly chat to from time to time.

It's not about the numbers anyways, I prefer having a select group of comforting, trustworthy and reliable friends that I can have a good time with and are dependable.

Easier to manage friendships with your own life too.

I keep my mates in groups of 8-10, I prefer it that way cos if some lazy ****ers don't go out, always got a backup. Just ****ing expensive to keep up with then all
