How many things can one loop handle?

Hi there,

I've got an MCP355 18w. Currently going pump, 240 rad, cpu block, gpu block, 240 rad, back to pump. (using a T-line before pump).

So could I add more to the loop? another gpu for instance? I know I would probably have to add another rad - but again, how many 'in sequence' bits can a single pump handle.

Any advice or pointers on where to read on this specifically would be appreciated.

Cheers

Max

I think that pump has enough grunt to do everything, cpu, gpu, mobo, ram, hdd's but it all depends on how restrictive the blocks are. running 2/3rads with the cpu and 2x gpu should be fine, though I suggest at least another rad for 2xgpu and cpu. Remember, more rads=more surface area=better temps.

Thanks Pengu1n. Good to know that my pump can handle a bit more. Can you (or can anyone else) direct me to a page where I can read about this in a bit more detail. I would like to understand the mechanics and workings out for what the limit is for one loop. Cheers!

Don't there is a page that tells you.

It will be fine tho.

I have a d5 with similar set up and that's fine and has less head pressure than your pump

I've used that pump with cpu, mobo, ram and 2 120.3 rads so to be honest I think it can handle anything you're likely to throw at it, GPU blocks particularly are very low resistance.
