Plus a few GC games I bought since I got the Wii, but I am a peeved off that the region free disk thing doesn't work for GC games anymore :(

Hi all 1st post!!! w00t :D :D long time reader

ive got 4 games and i love my Wii

Wii play

next on my list is godfather and i also have a shot of ssx blur from a friend which after a bit of a play seems good, looks nice enough controls are decent too not the usual tripe from EA we are used too.

Got the following:

  • Wii Sports
  • Wii PLay
  • Zelda
  • Wario
And gamecube ones bought for it
  • Donkey Konga
  • Donkey Konga 2
  • Donkey Konga Jungle Beat
  • Mario Kart Double Dash
  • Zelda Windwaker
Think thats it, had and sold Monkey Ball and looking forward to other titles but trying not to spend too much cash on games these days, and the 360 games nearly always win. Once online multiplayer and some better titles come around, it will get more attention.

Welcome to the forums! :)

Godfather rocks! :D

Thanks

SSX blur for anybody who hasnt played it or thought about it seems like a good choice for a game playing it at the mo but im pretty poor just not as good at games as i used to be :(

Also on the gamecube front a certain etailer has star wars lego for £17.99 and Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes for the same price which are both bargains considering on the bay people want nearly full price

also on random nintendy news which ill add here cause i dont feel ready to make my own new thread yet is the rumour of resident evil 4 wii edition http://www.n-europe.com/news.php?nid=10316 (probably an error tho :( )
and also lots of speculation on sonic in the new smbb game after mario vs sonic at the olympics was announced and lastly final fight and street fighter 2 turbo coming to the virtual console http://www.cubed3.com/news/7139/1/Final_Fight_and_Street_Fighter_II_for_Wii

Never thought of gamecube games!

Think I may get GC FIFA 2007!
Pfft n00b :p

You will also need a Gamecube controller, Wavebird is best. This can then be used on the Virtual Console too. Some great games available fot the Gamecube, if you look back to when the Wii came out there were a few threads on here about which games to get. For me, Donkey Konga is a must have.

I only have 3 games although there are a few that I want to buy but I cant :(, I'm still paying for the Wii.

Wii Sports [obviously]
Excite Truck
Super Monkey Ball [anyone like to take this off my hands for a better game? :p]

It doesn't matter about software sales as much as unlike the Sony, nintendo (and MS now) had their heads screwed on and sold their consoles for a tidy profit. Sony need software sales, no one else does.

Microsoft sold the 360 for a loss for some time after launch, the situation with the ps3 will be the same.

iirc sony lose a heck of a lot more per console than MS ever did.

i used the virtual console pad today its actully really nice as a controller, its much better than the gc pad tbh

ive got 3 gamecube pads to i think its time for an investment in a virtual console pad and download mariokart 64
