1 360, had it for about 8 months now I think, power brick is shoved round the back of the TV with the rest of the wires, box has been knocked over a couple of times, all going with no problems, played pretty much every day for a few hours :)
 
I bought one in December 2006 and it broke within 3 weeks. It just wouldn't read any discs at all. I got it replaced in store and that still works.

So, I am on my 2nd. I can't believe some people have had 5+, that is some bad luck there :p

he's a mate of mine so I'm only joking, he was round my place last night playing GT HD for about 5 hours straight, the next day he traded his 360 in for a PS3 :D , I'm no fanboy of either console, I will miss my 360 and when they become more reliable I will buy another one.

my friend twas a joke is all, being a ps3 owner and future owner of a fourth 360 which will be the elite ( need that hdmi ) I know how nice a piece of kit ps3 is and hopefully elite will be aswell

Bought mine in Dec '06, manufactured in September 06, use it for a couple of hours a month (can't drag myself away from GTR2 on PC :p ), so far so good....
 
had mine since i bought it which was just after christmas last year if i remember rightly. Been running fine, even had wine spilled down inside of it. Only problem i have had is with PGR3 where it doesnt spin up correctly but i think thats a game issue rather than console. Do you think you can easily mess up these machines. people with 5 consoles just makes me seem that they might be mistreated ? or just extremely unlucky

The likely reason is that those people received back refurbished consoles from MS, after their first one broke.
