my mate is having an argument with his housemate (a girl who leaves limewire on all day) about all the waste he's doing

i said it's likely to be bugger all (ie, you can play cs 'ok' on dialup), maybe 10-30mb per hour

Quick look at Netmeter stats shows a wildly guestimated number of 47mb per hour combined up/down bandwidth.

Tested on a PC but I would imagine 360 would be the same or less.
