Hey :)

I'm looking to get a new phone on contract but I'm just not sure how much data ill actually need so I'm curious as to how much data the public actually use per month. think 500mb will be enough or should i pay an extra £5 for 1.5gb?

Thanks

I think on average I use 500MB a month. I have a 3GB cap that came inclusive with my phone, but I rarely ever need it as at either destination im usually connected to wireless. I might be inclined to go for 1.5GB because the caps they place you on for going over are worse then dial-up.

in 2 weeks i've used just under 500mb, and i use wifi for most data stuff (downloading apps etc).

youtube etc will rape your data if you use it a lot (which is where most of mine has gone this month)

Upto 1GB a month, 2GB on the rare month (where I'm too lazy to connect to wifi). However I use spotify.

~600-900mb per month (with wifi at home but not at work)

Will be getting wifi at work within the next 3 weeks so I expect my usage to drop to below 500mb.

Used to be around 900MB but I stopped getting a free extra 500MB and was left with 500MB, so I use about 250MB now, I go Wifi as soon as I get into the house.

About 10GB a month with giff gaff! But then I don't have access to wifi/broadband or even a computer come to think of it so everything goes through the phone!
