Don't drink at all...never aquired the taste for it. My girlfriend doesn't drink either so it saves quite a bit of money lol

Exactly the same, although my Girlfriend drinks a little only when she's out with mates tho.

Can't remember the last time I had a drink.

Some of my mates would drink that on a Fri / Sat night alone - along with shorts. In fact, I would say most people I know drink >35 units every week. Most of the women I know drink 4 - 5 bottles of wine a week (45 units)

I don't know whether it is common or just common to your circle of friends though. :) However I do know quite a few people lie to their doctors about their alcohol consumption, I solve this moral dilemma by simply not seeing a doctor. ;)

I doubt I could say how much I drink as an average since it varies so wildly, some months I barely go out and drink at all and other months I'm out near enough every night even if it is just for a couple.

I drink if I'm away on tour maybe a good 25-30 pints a week. If I'm at home I probably have 1 night where I have maybe 5-6pints and then a few thru the week. It varies quite a bit..

in general i dont drink, when i have a good night out though i generally make up for it. eg last tues night, not had a 'drink' in a good while.
so, started at 6pm on the free wine (was at a conference) which kept being topped up, 8pm made way to Natural History Museum for the evening do (this was bloody amazing tbh) until after midnight, again wine being topped up constantly.
onto a club in leicester square until 3am (drinking champers and vodka+redbull) and then into a casino for more drinks until 5am ish.
Not only was it a fantastic night out, but i never paid a penny (neither did any of the people i work with) as pre midnight it was all part of the conference, then afterwards the good people of a company we do business with wanted to take us out into town for more, never say no to a thing like this!
I no doubt drank more than what I had been missing out on since the last bender :]
Which reminds me, i need to email the people concerned and express much thanks for making me only have 2.5 hours sleep prior to an exam at 9am the next morning!!

I had about 16-18 units on thursday night (maybe? 6 double vodka redbulls, 2 soco cokes and 2 alcopops), but apart from that 0. I guess I'm a binger, and I don't drink unless I'm out somewhere.

Please for the love of god don't say that... Makes you sound like a grade a ****! It's such an embarrassingly cringe-worthy advert. :(

I don't drink much at all...but every few weeks when I go out with my mates I tend to indulge.

I also have a little rule...I try to drink at least 1.5 times in water of what i've drunk of alcohol.

For example....6 pints = 9 pints water....even though I get up all the time in the night to **** it really helps with the hangovers and I would imagine helps your liver/kidneys process that alcohol as well.
That's seriously excessive mate!! I'd be carefull drinking so much, you're more likely to be doing yourself harm than good drinking so much water. What if you have 10 pints? You have 15 pints of water? That could kill you...

I have the perfect hangover cure and it works everytime. As an example I went out on Sunday and drank the equivolent of 20+ pints. Had over 15 pints of lager, couple cheeky vimto's (port and blue wicked) some sours shots and aftershocks. So a bit of a cocktail and enough to knock out a bull.

5g Taurine before I went out with a pint of water
about 4 pints of water while I was out
bag of salted peanuts (to replace electrolytes, lost salts)
5g Taurine when I got home.
5g Fish oils (Omega 3)
Multi-vit (good quality one with plenty of B-vitamins)

I always do this and never suffer a hangover. The taurine is the key (helps keep you hydrated, they put it in Red Bull for this reason) along with the water but the salted nuts help too replacing salts.

I usually don't drink during the week unless i go to a gig or something.
I tend to have about 16 units over a weekend on average I think. It should really be less though I think. It's halting my gym progress :)

don't drink in the week at all, i can not see any point of drinking alone.

The only times i do drink alone is when i need to get to sleep when my body clock is in night hours, and i need to go somewhere in the morning.

i go out to town with the lads about twice a month at most and drink about 8-10 pints of ale at most.

Not all that much.

I don't drink at home (unless it's someones birthday, or it's Christmas) and only drink when I'm out.

I had two nights which ended badly so I have never pushed myself so far again.

Tend to have one-three pints, 0-5 alcopops and 0-4 shots on an average night out.

When I go out, it's normally two times a week, sometimes three.

My friends like to get drunk but I just drink to get tipsy! I have days where I can drink a bit more than usual and days I can only manage a bit less.

Well no, I don't think I've ever had more than about 2 liters of water during the night...I do know about the dangers of water intoxication as I used to be a raver back in the day ;)

I'll try the Taurine...I take Krill oil and fish oil daily along with a probiotic multivitamin...but I'm allergic to peanuts and most nuts so maybe I'll replace those with some salt and vinegar crisps ;)
