How much do you drink.....?

1-2 bottles of beer a night if I am just chilling or a glass of red wine. Too much when I go for a night out :(

so is taxes, but we all pay em.

Actually no, they arnt a waist of money.

Taxes is what keeps things like Sewers running, Roads drivable, Hospitals running, Police on the streets, Jails open, the country defended.

Things you actually need so you dont live in a **** heap like some African Country with a Corrupt government.

Plus you dont need to drink but you do need to pay taxes ;)

Hardly anything, maybe a few beers with mates every couple of weeks.

on the plus I do get drunk very easily :D

I'll have the odd bottle when playing a game, but mostly of a weekend if I'm at a party or BBQ etc. Even then I don't drink a huge amount, probably about 5-10 bottles of Bud.

Maybe 2-3 good quality beers, or 0.5L of wine, a night sometimes just a few nice drams of whisky to relax. Weekends I mighjt drink a little more but not much. I tend to be consistent and not a binge drinker.

I drink nothing and i think its a waist of money :)

I think bottled water and soft drinks are a waste of money.

Even ignoring the benificial psychological effects of moderate alcohol, most be do actually enjoy the taste of a good beer or bottle of wine.

I love western isle whiskies, 6 year old carbonet servigons and strong belgian beer. If there were non alcoholic version which tastes the same I would drink them as well.

And then there are many foods that benefit greatly by mixing with a good wine. Not drinking a good wine with a good meal is depriving yourself of some of the experience.

So in no way is it a waste of money. I gain a lot of pleasure from safe drinking.

im 17 so dont drink much at all. I may have the odd stella when having dinner with my family or watching a film.

However when there is an occasion (1st holy communion, 21st brithday etc) I have a bit more. Unfortunalty (or fortunatly???) I have a low body mass. 9.75stones over 6' 3". Therefore after 7 pints of guiness I seem a bit happier. Still can walk fine and arnt slurred yet :D

Dont know what my limit is and tbh dont want to go there.

I still have some reputation :p

Since moving in with the gf I have tended to drink throughout the week.

Luckily for me that has only been for the duration of 5 weeks.

I've out a stop to the drinking during the week now and indulge fri, sat and sun.

Still probably not healthy but tis better than during the week. Plus i'm only 22 and you only live once. Enjoy life, just don't go OTT

It's very rare that I'll drink more than about 4 pints when I'm out. Just enough to get me merry, but not enough to feel violently ill the next day. Also I don't even really enjoy beer if I'm honest. I have recently discovered Magners though , superb stuff!!

It depends. If we go out for a meal then the pub after it can get silly. Usually it's just 5 pints a week and maybe 2 bottles of wine (between 3) on a friday or saturday. Although it was so hot last night that I cracked open a can of Carling.

It is much healthier to drink small amounts regularly than lots in one go. If I was you I would perhaps just stop drinking on weekends and drink sensible through the week rather thin binge drink at weekends.

Your body copes fine with small amounts of alcohol, it is only large amounts in a small period of time that cause any damage

But then that defeats the object really. I'd rather drink a soft drink if it's in small portions.

What is classed as a binge now anyways? Say on a Friday night i'll have 10 - 12 bottles of Carslberg Export and the same can go for Saturday and Sunday night aswell.
