How much do you spend in bills each month?

Hi guys, I'm going to move to Hull in a few months just for 1 school year (still in college but not a kid, I'm 25). But I'm completely lost about rents and flats. I'm trying to avoid shared flats since I've had really bad experiences, so I'm looking for studios.
The thing is the studios with bills icluded I have found are about 600-700pcm, and the ones that doesn't include bills are 400pcm, so maybe it's worth to pay bills separately from the rent.

I'd like to know how much you spend in bills each month since I'm not from England so I have no idea about prices here.

PS: as I'm sure you've noticed english is not my mothertongue so don't be harsh on me.

I didn't expect so many of you would answer to this, thank you so much! You've all been very helpful. I think I'll pay bills separately, prices are pretty reasonable, I think the most expensive bill I'll get will be internet so it's worth for me

i would opt to pay for bills separately. from your examples of 400 without and 700 with.. thats 300£ per month - there is no way you use that much eletric/water/gas to cost you 300£ especially when you will be in college for the most part and you can take advantage of that - study in college after classes (evenings).. use their showers etc..

Showers in college for all students use? We don't have any similar thing in my country... sounds really cool
