As pet title, what's your weekly spend on groceries (incl. alcohol etc)?

I'm just doing some last year spend research, and without wanting to sound like a salesman for Lloyds, their Money Manager is great.

So an average of £51 per week. I'm a male without any dependants, although I have a girlfriend so there'd be 2/3 joint meals a week in there, plus the odd "bulk-purchase" of a big flat meal (I live with 4 others) where cash been given to me. That also includes alcohol.

Either way I'm quite happy with that. I don't ever meal plan or go to a big supermarket; everything's always bought at my local Co-op on the day/day before.

Mods: Could we maybe get a poll?

I spend way too much money on food :/ I should really cut down but I love experimenting with different dishes/etc and using high quality ingredients so it tends to add up.

I've saved a lot since I cut down my alcohol intake though.

Including alcohol, well over £100 a week - probably closer to £150 - just for myself.

I order all my meat online from a very good Scottish butcher, which is quite costly and I drink good malt whisky both of which which bumps the weekly cost up a fair bit.

Around a £100 a week for 2 adults and 2 kids here. That doesnt generally include booze though or the odd thing we just pick up from the shop

30-50 a week sometimes up to 70 if buying goodies like whiskey and premium food items.

Just me on my own shop once a week at asda. Sometimes i can stretch one shop for two weeks depending on if i buy a lot of long lasting food or not.

About £150 a week - no alcohol. Thats for a family of 7 (thank god the wife breastfeeds and uses cloth nappies!!!)

Around £35 a week from ASDA For food. (I'm a student ;) )
And maybe £25 on alchohol ( I only drink at pubs! )
Possibly £5 per week on takeaway...
