How much do you spend on groceries?

Too much. We're split at the moment, she's in UK and I'm out in Switzerland, so between us it's a silly amount. c.130 a week (her and 2 boys) for her and me is probably like c.75 a week.

Hence me trying to get her out here as soon as possible.

£50-£60 a week for me and the misses

Ditto.

Amazingly you can get quite a lot of good quality food for not much money if you're careful.

We managed to get 2 medium chickens for £6 last week. We don't eat many carbs other than wholemeal pasta, sweet potato and veggies. So most of the food is made up of decent quality meat and veg. For that price range you can eat well. This doesn't count for weekends as I tend to do a separate shop for a few bits and pieces, but even then it's under £10.

Have to agree with this. Although I'm actually £50-60 every two weeks for just me - so would work out about the same.

My Carbs are pretty much brown rice or wholemeal pasta - with the occasional wholemeal slice of bread thrown in.

I think about 3/4 of my spending is on:
Eggs
Cheese
Turkey
Mackerel

I get about £15 worth of turkey and £10 of mackerel alone... And it's decent quality stuff...

For throwing away though I'm pretty good - most carbs last for ever. Then Wraps get frozen, as does many other things, Turkey also gets frozen, and Mackerel is canned. The only real thing I occasionally have to throw away is a couple of bits of veg here and there or some eggs. Oh and the occasional glass of milk.

I spend too much on food, it's by far my biggest expendature. Even worse now I have been training for the past few months as I take much more care in what I eat and generally eat fresh every day.

Fiver a day. Plus a little booze on the weekend.

Finding it quite easy to do with a little bit of planning. Plenty of fruit and veg in the mix as well.
