I started counting at the start of January. And stopped at the end of January when I realised I'd spent over £500 on petrol, 85% for work, with a little personal at weekends. I did do very nearly 4000 miles in January though.
Humph! £2400 a year would be bliss....February's fuel count was just short of £400 (no personal miles) - so I'm headed for somewhere in the region of £6-7k spent on petrol in the next year. Which is roundabout 50% of my take home salary
