She's generally OK, but our priorities differ sometimes, I think IT comes before decorating, and she thinks the opposite. Once USB3 and SATA3 come out and the new AMD platform next year, work on the house will stop for a while, I can hear the complaining now :D

edit - OMG 79 posts! does this mean people think I actually had a worthwhile post - ducks head and waits for flaming .....

Everything from computers at work requiring more memory, mates and work colleages personal PC's that I have been asked to repair and my own best of the best rig builds every couple of years..
I think I've built three rigs from scratch over the years and have built many others for other people out of my left overs and upgraded parts. :o

Probably 6 grand since I've been here..
This year though I think its just a couple of stick of memory a PSU and awaiting Windows7 to be released.

It all comes from OCUK.
 
Well so far this year only a GTX260, some dominator DDR2 ram, an E5300, and a 9800GT, and yesterday some i5 stuff, so about £850 this year.

I tend to buy most of my stuff second hand now if i can
 
The shop? once in a blue moon when I can actually afford something and they are providing it at the cheapest price.
