How much does a kilogram of Chicken Breast cost you?

Cheapness of chicken is not a good thing. Having spent time helping out on chicken farm (and not even the worst kind) as a kid I don't buy cheap chicken and don't eat chicken out anywhere that cooks with it.

Depends. £12.99 kilo for me, but the halal counter they're £5.99 kilo.

I get mine for 10.00 from a friend who has their own organic chicken farm.

I always thought that was a good deal.

It's also one of the most obviuse difference in taste between cheap and well produced meat, along with pork.

Not chicken, but I would bet anyone that they can taste the difference if they tried this http://www.moonbeamsland.co.uk/shop/gloucester-old-spot-belly-pork/p_6.html
And it's only £8 a kilo.
Although I'm sure some wouldn't like it, as it has a deep pork taste and not some washed out flavour.

clearly not lol

Cheap does not automatically mean good Value.
I would rather drop to thighs (nicer anyway) and still pay twice as much as you for some good qaulity meat with real taste.
Or bulk buy. And you can get that down further.

Be getting an 8kg goat @ £55next week
